Five Decades of Commitment to Healthcare Education
The journey of IPH&H began with a simple yet meaningful vision — to contribute towards stronger healthcare systems by preparing skilled, compassionate, and professionally trained healthcare workers for society. At a time when healthcare education opportunities in allied and public health sciences were limited, the institution stepped forward with a commitment towards practical learning, discipline, and service-oriented education.

In its early years, IPH&H focused on building strong foundations in healthcare training through dedicated faculty, community-oriented education, and skill-based learning. With limited resources but a clear purpose, the institution gradually earned recognition for its sincerity towards healthcare education and professional training.
As healthcare needs evolved across the country, IPH&H also expanded its academic horizons. New programs in nursing, allied health sciences, diagnostics, public health, rehabilitation, healthcare technology, and emerging healthcare disciplines were introduced to meet the growing demand for trained healthcare professionals. Over the years, thousands of students from different regions pursued their education through the institution and went on to serve in hospitals, laboratories, healthcare organizations, community health programs, and public service sectors.
The institution continuously adapted itself with changing times by strengthening practical training, introducing laboratory-based learning, expanding healthcare skill development, and encouraging professional competence alongside academic knowledge. Workshops, clinical exposure, simulation-based learning, healthcare awareness activities, and industry-oriented training gradually became an important part of the educational culture at IPH&H.
