At IPH&H, our infrastructure is designed to create an immersive, practice-oriented learning environment that mirrors real clinical settings. Our state-of-the-art laboratories and learning spaces enable students to seamlessly blend theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, preparing them to meet real-world healthcare challenges with confidence and competence.

Fundamentals of Nursing Laboratory

The Fundamentals of Nursing Lab provides a realistic hospital-like setting where students master essential nursing skills. Equipped with patient beds, mannequins, and modern medical equipment, the lab allows learners to practice patient assessment, hygiene care, bed-making, infection control, and basic nursing procedures. The focus is on building strong clinical foundations and patient-care confidence.

Community Health Nursing Laboratory

Designed to prepare students for healthcare delivery beyond hospital walls, the Community Health Nursing Lab simulates real community environments using charts, models, and teaching aids. Students gain practical exposure to preventive, promotive, and rehabilitative care while learning to conduct health education, family welfare activities, and public health initiatives across diverse populations.

Midwifery Laboratory

The Midwifery Lab is a specialised training facility dedicated to maternal and newborn care. With advanced birthing mannequins, neonatal care equipment, and labour-room simulations, students receive hands-on training in antenatal care, safe delivery practices, postnatal care, and emergency obstetric procedures, ensuring readiness for real clinical responsibilities.

Nutrition Laboratory

The Nutrition Lab offers practical exposure to dietetics and therapeutic nutrition. Equipped with food models, kitchen facilities, and dietary assessment tools, students learn meal planning, nutritional counselling, and the preparation of balanced and therapeutic diets to address malnutrition and lifestyle-related health concerns across age groups.

Pre-Clinical Sciences Laboratory

The Pre-Clinical Sciences Lab lays a strong scientific foundation in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and pathology. Anatomical models, specimens, microscopes, and visual aids help students understand the structure and functions of the human body, forming a crucial base for advanced clinical training.

Computer Laboratory

The Computer Lab integrates healthcare education with modern technology. With high-speed internet and updated systems, students gain exposure to nursing informatics, electronic health records, research tools, and data management, preparing them for the digital demands of contemporary healthcare practice.

Audio-Visual Laboratory

The Audio-Visual Lab enhances learning through multimedia-based education. Equipped with smart boards, projectors, and interactive teaching tools, it supports presentations, demonstrations, simulations, and video-assisted learning, making complex medical concepts easier to understand and retain.

Advanced Nursing Skills Laboratory

The Advanced Nursing Skills Lab replicates high-pressure clinical environments using high-fidelity mannequins and advanced simulation equipment. Students practice critical procedures such as IV cannulation, catheterisation, CPR, emergency response, and critical care interventions, developing clinical judgement, technical expertise, and decision-making skills.
