The IPHH School of Nursing, recognized as one of the best nursing colleges in Delhi NCR, successfully celebrated World Patient Safety Day on 17th September 2025. The program was organized by the Department of Nursing to promote awareness about safe healthcare practices among patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
The event featured an informative hand hygiene demonstration by GNM students, showcasing the WHO-recommended 7 steps of handwashing and actively engaging patients and attendants. In addition, GNM third-year students presented a role play highlighting medication errors and explained the Ten Rights of Medication Administration, emphasizing safe and responsible nursing practices.
Faculty members, students, patients, and caregivers participated actively, creating a collaborative learning environment. The program reinforced the message that patient safety is a shared responsibility, achieved through correct practices, awareness, and teamwork. Events like these reflect IPHH’s commitment to quality nursing education and its role as a leading nursing institute in Delhi NCR.
